Back in May of 2006, I accompined my good friend Barbe to Colorado Springs, Colorado to visit her Uncle. It was only for a few days, but we did hit up two major things that one must do when you go to Colorado Springs.
The first place we hit up was The Garden of the Gods. What an absolutely beautiful place!! Yes, it is a lot of different rock formations that have been around for thousands of years, but it is just breathtakingingly beautiful!!
we did not see the whole of the Garden of the Gods, but we did quite a bit.
The second thing we did was go to Pikes Peak Mountain. Uncle Richard drove us up to the summit of the mountain, which was amazing, and the summit was beautiful! One of the few times I appreciated snow. This is the only mountain that I have been to, so far.
*A Note: I do need to find my pictures from this trip. These were the days when I was still using a FunSaver Camara, so the pictures are on CD’s. Once I find them, I will figure out how to transfer them to a USB/Thumb drive so that I can add them to this post. Thanks for understanding!
